It's All About HOW to Learn Anatomy
FAQ
-
What is included when I purchase access to Anatomy Doctor: Musculoskeletal System?
You get 12-month access to Anatomy Doctor's two courses, designed by an internationally award-winning educator in human anatomy. The first course on the skeletal system includes 30 chapters with video lessons to guide you, real-time, through the bones, bone markings and relationships among skeletal structures. The focus is specifically on language acquisition and is a complementary resource that can be used to support your success in more comprehensive anatomy courses. The second course is on the muscular system and is formatted similarly to the first course.
-
What previous experience do I need to start the course?
This course is offered in English and requires no previous knowledge of anatomy.
-
I'm a medical student, will Anatomy Doctor be adequate for the level I'm expected to know for medical school?
In most cases, yes. While this course assumes no previous knowledge in anatomy, it will cover content that is typically appropriate for basic medical sciences programming (but not for a medical specialty). Anatomy Doctor is also appropriate for those in other programs such as osteopathy, nursing, chiropractic, massage therapy, forensic anthropology foundations, visual art or even self-study to support your learning.
-
How will I know that I want to purchase 12-month access to Anatomy Doctor?
You can try Anatomy Doctor on this site or click on the YouTube icon at the bottom of this page, giving you FREE Mini Course Access. If you decide the approach works for you, you can subscribe to the 12-month access.
-
Why does Anatomy Doctor only have a course on the musculoskeletal system and not other systems of the body?
With over 30 years of experience teaching anatomy, the skeletal and muscular systems are students' most significant pain points in learning anatomy. The skeletal system is foundational since students who know bones and bone markings really well have a much easier time learning the muscular system. In fact, these two systems are often called the musculoskeletal system because they are so intimately connected.

What about if I want a refund?
Since a lot of work goes into course content, it is a final sale once 12-month access is purchased. Please use all of your access to FREE content (on this site or on YouTube) before deciding to purchase access. All free content represents the approach and quality of the entire course.

I have accessible learning needs. Does Anatomy Doctor accommodate for my learning needs?
The diverse needs of all learners are hard to predict. The course "script" is specifically designed so that the images in videos are valuable to sighted individuals, but are primarily supplementary. If you are blind or vision-impaired, whereby the videos are not accessible to you, the audio has been written for you to follow along. It is recommended for all students to use a skeletal model as they study anatomy, but that is particularly helpful for vision-impaired and blind learners. For deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals (who purchase access), closed caption can be used in the videos.
